Why Coffee?
I would like to discuss the coffee that’s commonly known as Seattle’s Best Coffee, in other words, Starbucks. This type of coffee business has became successful and become wide known brand of coffee. Regarding to coffee industry, its my personal interests and I am very crazy about Starbucks, myself. I apply this choice to my own benefit. For my blog, I would like to discuss about coffee market and how it develops the elements in the business. There are variety of issues to be discussed such as coffee statistics, coffee market prices, and coffee market trends. The purpose of blogging regarding to coffee industry is to benefit others and industry to be noticeable and allow the industry grow and increase the product of coffee.
For example, most teenagers and young adults purchase cup of coffee from Starbucks. The business is already making valuable profit from making it national wide company establishing everywhere in the United States. I am trying to relate this industry with internet marketing and at the same time expand the advertising the coffee industry.
What is Branding?
According to the American Marketing Association (AM) simplify defines is that the word, “Brand” is a name, term, sign, symbol or design. Which this is to identify the goods or products and their services of one seller or group of sellers. In addition, make differentiate from other sellers. this one makes more sense and its what is different from others, not just the design itself just from different company that runs the business differently and use different product to attract the customers.
Branding is not only for getting your attention (target) market to choose you over the competition. For a good brand that achieves if; the branding delivers a good message clearly, motivation to the buyer, loyalty of the product, a good credits, and a good connection of target prospects emotionally. Another importantly is that to success in a branding, you need to understand the needs and wants of your customers, prospects, hearts and minds of customers. So to have a strong brand is to spend time investing in researching, defining, and building your brand. After these, your brand will be a promised of a source for your customers.
A great example,brand, and meets the customer’s attractions of the product’s loyalty is Starbucks. Starbucks provides a variety of flavors coffee, different countries’ coffees, sells cups, thermal mugs, starbucks cards, and word by word, and the growing of different locations around in the world.
I want to investigate why Starbucks is so powerful of its own brand than other brands. Everywhere even though around in the world, people know and heard of Starbucks than other brands.
Communication strategies…
I think this is an emphasized is to have communication between company and customers. It helps to deliver messages easier and a growth of profits. Without any messages, people won’t heard or won’t learn anything new about the new product.
To make Starbucks to grow its business, and their coffee industry to grow, they create web site. A website is a collection of web pages, images, videos, written, arts, (Wikipedia.com). The website is a way of accessible to see the world wide web, like it includes of business sites, news sites, academics sites, journals, game sites, web’s emails, social networking, and much more to access.
It is important for coffee business like Starbucks to have their own website so that customers can access where the location is, contact employers if need to, or feedbacks, complaints, check out the new arrivals, like recently they updated a new coffee, “Casi Cielo” which is made in Antigua, Guatemala. Another reason is that website helps the company and starbucks to be more recognized. By growing the good selling of their products, Starbucks will definitely success and a lot of profits they receive everyday.
After creating a brand, there is still need to have CRM, “CRM (customer relationship management) is an information industry term for methodologies, software, and usually Internet capabilities that help an enterprise manage customer relationships in an organized way.”

Coffee industry has to be sure to send a correct message to customers to represent their industry and their purpose of the brand. There are certain image and symbol that represent the concept of the coffee industry.
How Starbucks choose the right price for coffee?

A recently, the news announced that “Starbucks decided to charge more because costs, including fuel and energy, are going up, spokeswoman Valerie O’Neil said in published reports. The increase is part of an “ongoing evaluation of business costs.”
By increasing the price, many students like in NYU, (New York University) who buy frequently Starbucks were disappointed when the coffees were increased. However, Starbucks is still good business, students and others will be continue going anyway.
